Moot Court Society Law College Dehradun has successfully  organized its 6 editions of National Moot Court Competition and has witnessed the participation of more than 100 colleges so far, and as the Judges the premises of Law College Dehradun is blessed to have number of Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court and various High Courts.

6th Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2022

6th Edition of National Moot Court Competition on Constitutional Law, NDPS Act and relevant laws which was scheduled to be held from Saturday 7th May 2022 to Sunday, 8th May 2022. After having the cutting throat competition, Llyod Law College, Noida  won the competition with Hon’ble Dr. Justice Mukundakam Sharma sir, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Respected Guests of Honour, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge, Uttarakhand High Court, Former Chairman, Uttarakhand Law Commission, Mr. Rakesh Khanna, Senior Advocate & Former Additional Solicitor General, Supreme Court of India, Dr. Charu Mathur, Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India, Mr. Surjendu Sankar Das, Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India, and Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean, Law College Dehradun as the Judges of Final Round.

5th Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2021

5th Edition of National Moot Court Competition on Constitutional Law was organized from Saturday, 1st May 2021 to Sunday, 2nd May 2021. Exhibiting exceptional advocacy skills, Christ Deemed to be University, Bangalore lift the winning trophy. The final round between School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore and Central University South Bihar was adjudged by a stellar bench comprising of Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan (Former Chief Justice of India), Ms. Aishwarya Bhatti (Additional Solicitor General of India), Dr. Amit George (Advocate, Delhi High Court), Mr. Abhishek Anand (Co-founder & Partner, Sarvada Legal), Prof (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna (Principal and Dean, Law College Dehradun).

4th Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2019

4th Edition of National Moot Court Competition on Constitutional Law was organized from Friday, 4th October 2019 to Sunday, 6th October 2019. Exhibiting exceptional advocacy skills, Chanakya National Law University, Patna lift the winning trophy.The final round between Chanakya National Law University and G.H. Raisoni Law School was adjudged by a stellar bench comprising of Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.P. Singh (Former Judge Supreme Court of India), Hon’ble Mr. Justice V.K. Shali (Former Judge High Court of Delhi), Prof (Dr.) Romesh Gautam (Senior Advocate Supreme Court of India), Mr. Vivek Narayan Sharma (AOR & JointSecretary SCAORA), Prof (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna (Principal and Dean, Law College Dehradun).

3rd Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2018

3rd Edition of National Moot Court Competition on Constitutional Law which was scheduled to be held from Friday, 5th October 2018 to Sunday, 7th October 2018. After having the cutting throat competition, Hidayat Ullah National Law University, Raipur won the competition.The final round between Hidayat Ullah National Law University, Raipur and School of Excellence in Law Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Tamil Nadu was adjudged by a stellar bench comprising of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Swatanter Kumar, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Former Chairperson, National Green tribunal, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Tandon, Chairman, Law Commission Uttarakhand and Former Judge, Uttarakhand High Court, Mr. Shammi Khan, Presiding Officer, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Dehradun and Mr. Gagan Gupta, Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India.

2nd Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2017

The 2nd edition of National Moot Court Competition that was held from 6th to 8th October, 2017. The Competition focused mainly on Constitutional Law, with references to certain special laws like Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Showing excellent team work and great mooting skills, National Law University, Jodhpur, lift the winning trophy.

1st Ed. of National Moot Court Competition, 2013

The first ever National Moot Court Competition of this institution was held in the year 2013. The problem was based on the Constitutional Law and we’ve followed suit ever since. And after splendid performance and hard work, West Bengal National University of Judicial Science (WBNUJS), Kolkata, won the competition.
